- Installation Process: Installation and material dispatch will begin only after payment is received. Commissioning of the system will be completed within an average time frame of one month.
- Maintenance Responsibility: After successful installation, the customer is responsible for the regular cleaning of the solar panels. Panels should be cleaned twice a week for optimal performance. If poor panel cleanliness results in reduced system generation during service requests, additional charges may apply.
- Warranty on Equipment: All electronic equipment comes with a manufacturer’s warranty. The company will assist the customer in claiming this warranty if needed.
- Wiring & Installation Details: The company will provide DC and AC wiring up to the rooftop’s ground floor. For higher floors, an additional charge of Rs. 1.5 per watt will apply. Concealed wiring is not included; the customer must arrange this with their own electrician.
- Structure & Civil Work: A low-rise structure is included in the quotation. For high-rise installations, an additional Rs. 2 per watt will apply. The company will also provide civil work to strengthen the frame.
- Warranty: The company offers a 25-year warranty on the PV module, a 7-year warranty on the inverter, and a 5-year Operation & Maintenance (O&M) warranty on the system.
- Estimate: This estimate is generic and may vary depending on the specifics of the customer’s site.
Customer’s Scope of Work:
- Site Preparation: The customer must provide safe access and approach to the rooftop.
- Net Metering & Costs: Net metering setup, including related costs and government fees, will be borne by the customer. The company can assist in this process if required.
- System Modifications: Any modifications needed from DISCOM (like ELCB or changeover) will be the customer’s responsibility.
- Project Approvals: The customer must provide necessary documents for state and central government approvals.
- Installation Support: The customer is responsible for site clearance, providing water and electricity for smooth installation, and ensuring the necessary approvals are in place to meet the project timeline.
- Storage of Materials: The customer must provide safe storage space for materials (like PV modules and inverters) upon delivery and during installation. A safe place for unloading and storing materials must also be provided.
By agreeing to these terms, the customer ensures a smooth and efficient installation and ongoing maintenance process for their solar system.
Warranty Exclusions:
- Improper Handling: Any damage caused by improper handling of equipment is not covered under the warranty.
- Incomplete Payment: If full payment has not been made, the warranty will be void.
- Force Majeure Events: Damage resulting from events beyond control, such as natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, etc.), is excluded.
- Third-Party Interference: Any defects or damage caused by third-party actions, whether direct or indirect, will not be covered.
- Force Majeure Conditions: This offer, along with any related communications or documents, is subject to standard Force Majeure conditions.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal matters related to this agreement will fall under the jurisdiction of Bihar.
This exclusion ensures that any issues arising from external factors or non-compliance with payment terms are not covered by the warranty.
